Exciting Opportunity: Vice President, Capital Markets

Candidate Location Preference: Austin, TX (on-site, M–F). Open to candidates relocating.

CORY is hiring a strategic, deal-driven Vice President of Capital Markets in Austin. This is a unique opportunity to own the capital strategy for one of Central Texas's most active developers and play an integral role in the company's next phase of growth.

About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established, growing commercial real estate developer and services firm with a decades-long track record of long-term relationships with owners, investors, tenants, and the community.

Your Responsibilities as Leader:

Source, structure, and secure debt for development and acquisition investments
Build and manage relationships with lenders, investors, and JV partners
Review and negotiate loan documents and partnership/JV agreements
Lead the transaction closing process from term sheet to funding
Review and approve construction draws
Forecast capital needs and oversee capital compliance through the investment life cycle
Lead and implement investment-level capital processes across multiple divisions
Partner with the CFO, to whom this role reports, on overall growth strategy

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

10+ years of real estate experience, including principal-side experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing debt at a commercial real estate firm
Proven track record across development and acquisition financing
Strong command of loan and JV documentation and deal structuring
Established lender and capital-partner relationships
Bachelor's degree in a related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
