Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer | Los Angeles, CA Join a Growing Engineering Team Designing High-Profile Building Projects We’re seeking a Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer to support innovative commercial, educational, hospitality, and multi-residential projects throughout Southern California. This is a great opportunity for a motivated designer looking to grow under the mentorship of experienced Professional Engineers. Responsibilities Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system drawings Assist with specifications, feasibility studies, and energy modeling Perform gas utility load calculations and heat load calculations Support building pressurization plans and HVAC controls development Coordinate BMS details and sequences of operation with design teams Assist during construction phases with RFIs, submittals, and site visits Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design packages Qualifications Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Bluebeam, EnergyPro, and MS Office Familiarity with California Building Codes and Title 24 requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred HAP Carrier, Trane Trace 700, and Hydratec experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
