Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

This position involves providing care for patients who require Medical Step-Down level of care. The role emphasizes high-quality patient outcomes and effective teamwork in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care to individuals meeting Medical Step-Down criteria.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Mandatory Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down nursing experience.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association.
A minimum of 2 years of critical care or step-down nursing experience.

Shift Information

Two shifts are available:

Days: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
Nights: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM

Weekend and holiday rotation is required, and no guaranteed hours are offered. Overtime is paid at the regular, all-inclusive rate. Holiday coverage is also required.

Certifications / Requirements Prior to Start

Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA
