Summary You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the MECHANICAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will inspect assigned work sites for preventive maintenance, intimates appropriate corrective action. You will recommend new machines, tools, and the relocation of equipment. You will be responsible for initiation of Nuclear Work Permits. You will review work documents for adequacy and coordinate any needed changes in work procedures with shop and technical codes.
