Recognized in the industry for setting new standards in providing fast, high quality and accredited calibration services with laboratory locations across North AmericaJob DescriptionUtilize your leadership skills to continue our growth by empowering lab personnel expand their calibration skills while developing lean processes and robust quality systems.ResponsibilitiesCompare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Enters appropriate data in proper computer systemData Entry in our systemsDetermines method of shipment that complies with established policies and procedures and customer specificationsCoordinate with Freight Company for shipments too large for parcel pickupAffixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartonsAssembles and/or selects reassembled containersStamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containersPosts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postageUnpacks and examines incoming shipments, reports damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.Distributes items to appropriate individual and/or areaExamines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer requirementsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
