As a Receiving Clerk, you're not just receiving goods for the hotel – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.Here's what you'll do during a typical day:Support procurement operations: Assist with purchasing materials and supplies, researching prices, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and proceduresProcess and verify deliveries: Accept all purchased products, ensuring accuracy by checking deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and specificationsFulfill requisitions: Issue and deliver items to departments as requested, maintaining appropriate stock levels and notifying supervisors of low or out-of-stock itemsProcess invoices: Receive and process invoices, verify accuracy, scan documents, and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely paymentAssist with inventory tracking: Conduct routine inventories, input received merchandise into tracking systems, and report shortages or discrepanciesAt Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
