With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of hyperscale data center projects. Acting as the owner's representative, this individual will partner with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver complex, mission-critical facilities across domestic and international locations.The role is responsible for design management, project planning, contract administration, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.This is an embedded client-facing role in which the successful candidate will work directly alongside the client's team on a day-to-day basis while serving as a representative of Arcadis.Role accountabilities:Serve as the owner's representative through all phases of design and construction.Lead coordination of design teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change management processes.Oversee design reviews, constructability assessments, value engineering, and quality control activities.Administer contracts, support procurement efforts, and manage change orders.Track project deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements.Coordinate document control, design records, and as-built documentation.Support cost estimating, financial reporting, and issue resolution.Ensure successful project execution through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement.Qualifications & Experience:Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.10+ years of experience managing design and construction projects.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction phases.Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.Preferred QualificationsPE, RA, PMP, CCM, or similar professional certification.Experience delivering hyperscale data centers, mission-critical, or complex industrial facilities.Familiarity with BIM/VDC and digital project delivery tools.Experience within owner's representative, program management, or construction management environments.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across diverse geographic locations.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
