IT Enterprise Architect

Salary: $86,000 - 126,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, healthcare informatics, or a related field; a masters degree is preferred.
• We prefer professional certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CGEIT, ArchiMate, or CISSP.
• We need 8–12 years of progressive IT experience in enterprise-scale infrastructure, applications, cloud, integration, or architecture roles.
• We prefer 5 or more years of architecture leadership experience, along with healthcare industry experience.
• We need strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• We need a solid understanding of healthcare technology environments, including EHR platforms, interoperability, cybersecurity, and clinical operations.
• We need experience with cloud architecture, hybrid infrastructure, automation, DevOps, and modern application platforms.
• We need familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• We need strong knowledge of enterprise networking, identity management, integration platforms, and data architecture.
• We need excellent documentation skills, including document pipelines, markdown, and Visio.
• We need experience in strategic planning, governance, and technology standardization.
• We need the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
• We need strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• We need experience leading large-scale enterprise initiatives and cross-functional teams.

• We lead architecture governance activities, including review boards, standards reviews, and technology lifecycle management.
• We evaluate emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, AI platforms, interoperability solutions, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital health innovations.
• We provide architectural leadership for enterprise initiatives involving clinical systems, ERP platforms, integration engines, analytics, identity management, infrastructure modernization, and AI architecture.
• We collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams to design integrated enterprise solutions.
• We review and approve technical designs to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and future-state architecture.
• We lead technical due diligence and assessment work for vendors and strategic technology partnerships.
• We identify technology risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
• We support business continuity, disaster recovery, and high-availability planning for critical healthcare systems.
• We mentor architects, engineers, analysts, and technical teams on architecture practices and standards.
• We contribute to strategic planning, PMO governance, and enterprise project prioritization.
• We support large-scale initiatives from concept through implementation and operational transition.
• We facilitate cross-functional collaboration and provide executive-level presentations, reviews, and strategic recommendations.
• We help develop business cases, cost models, and technology investment strategies.
• We participate in incident reviews and root cause analysis for major enterprise-impacting events.
• We maintain architecture documentation, standards, diagrams, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.
• We develop current-state and future-state architecture models and document integration, security, infrastructure, and support considerations.
• We contribute to policy and standards development for enterprise technologies.
• We prepare executive summaries, technical reports, and architectural recommendations for leadership review.
• We maintain inventory and lifecycle documentation for strategic enterprise platforms and technologies.
