This role supports the engineering team, ensures proper completion of preventive maintenance tasks, and responds to repairs throughout the property. The Engineering Supervisor helps maintain building systems, upholds safety standards, and ensures that facilities remain clean, safe, and fully operational for guests and staff.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily supervision of the engineering and maintenance team.Assign, monitor, and inspect work orders to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Respond promptly to guestroom and public area maintenance requests.Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance and safety concerns.Support inventory management of tools, equipment, and replacement parts.Assist in coordinating contracted services, inspections, and vendor repairs.Ensure all engineering areas, mechanical rooms, and workshops remain clean, safe, and organized.Maintain accurate records including PM logs, work orders, compliance documents, and safety inspections.Support safety programs and ensure adherence to OSHA and fire/life safety standards.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.Assist with training new engineering team members.Perform additional duties as assigned by engineering leadership.HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
