ObserverCasino Fandango - Carson City, NV 89701Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Category: OtherDescriptionAs Surveillance Observer you act as the oversight agent for management and customers of this casino. You will monitor all casino floor, cage, and restaurants as well as all the cameras located outside and in the back of the house. You will provide daily written activity reports, to include any violations, and suspicious activities to the manager. You will be supporting the Surveillance department to make sure the casino assets are safe and secure.QualificationsEducation and Experience:Must be at least 21 years of age.High School Diploma and/or GED is mandatory.Previous experience with digital surveillance equipment is preferred.Must have the basic understanding of gaming rules, regulations and how players can cheat.Must have the basic and clear understanding in Table Games and Slots.Additional Requirements:The ability to read and recognize abnormal body language.The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.Must possess strong computer skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime mandatory as assigned.Do not fraternize with others outside this department.Stay off the casino floor to keep your anonymity.Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.Required Work Cards:Gaming RegistrationMachinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware Used:ComputersVideo and audio surveillance camerasPaycom systemMicrosoft Office programsAvigilon control center 5 client programDigital watch dog programs and camera systemsBosh controllerMotorola 2 -way radios
