Temporary Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

A leading Am Law 200 firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its team on a temporary/contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong commercial real estate experience who can step into the role and contribute with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support on a variety of sophisticated commercial real estate matters.
• Assist attorneys with real estate transactions from inception through closing.
• Conduct and coordinate title and survey review, including identifying and addressing issues in title commitments, surveys, and related documentation.
• Assist with UCC searches, filings, and related documentation.
• Prepare, organize, and review transaction documents and closing materials.
• Coordinate due diligence and assist with tracking transaction requirements and deadlines.
• Assist with closings, including compiling and maintaining closing checklists and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients, title companies, lenders, opposing counsel, and other third parties as needed.
• Perform additional paralegal and transactional support as required.

Qualifications

• Several years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
• Strong experience with UCC matters and title/survey work is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hit the ground running and work effectively with limited training.
• Experience supporting sophisticated commercial real estate transactions is strongly preferred.
