Senior Corporate Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description Senior Accountant We are partnering with a large organization seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This individual will support core accounting and close activities while helping strengthen processes, controls, and financial reporting accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules. Support monthly and quarterly close activities. Research account fluctuations, unusual activity, and reconciling items. Maintain accurate and audit-ready accounting documentation. Support internal controls and audit requests. Partner with cross-functional teams to obtain close inputs and resolve accounting issues. Identify opportunities to improve recurring close and reconciliation processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Experience supporting internal controls and audit requirements. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mentality. Public accounting or public company experience preferred. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
