About the Role:

Blount Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and programs across all job sites

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for field personnel

Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local codes, and company safety standards

Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and incident logs

Collaborate with project managers and site superintendents to promote a strong safety culture

Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety requirements on all projects

Requirements:

2+ years of safety coordination or related experience in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of OSHA 30-Hour Construction standards and regulations, preferred

Proven ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and influence field crews

Proficient in maintaining safety documentation and preparing compliance reports

Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel between active job sites

Self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to fostering a safety-first culture

Bilingual, preferred
