Responsibilities Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus Requirements Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit) Georgia: CPR certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays Massachusetts: CPR certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements as required by state regulations Michigan: evidence of X‑ray training certification upon hiring; an 8‑week period is granted if certification is not yet obtained New Jersey: proof of X‑ray training New York: not applicable Ohio: proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit) Texas: CPR certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners Benefits Competitive compensation Supportive team environment Opportunity for career growth Great Expressions is committed to diversity and inclusion and is a proud equal opportunity employer.
