Founding CTO for Healthcare Startup

As a hands-on engineering leader, the Founding CTO for a Healthcare Startup will work remotely to scale and enhance a women's health intelligence platform, focusing on evolving the backend infrastructure, developing data integration pipelines, and implementing AI-powered features while ensuring security and compliance. Key responsibilities Take ownership of a live product by improving its reliability and capabilities based on user feedback Architect and deepen the health intelligence engine to synthesize diverse health data into actionable insights Develop and extend robust data integration pipelines while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and data security standards Required qualifications 10+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in building complex products Strong backend and infrastructure expertise, particularly in system architecture and APIs Experience with health data integrations and familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, GCP, or Azure Experience in AI/ML implementations, including conversational AI and predictive models
