It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services. The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.The Caregiver is responsible for assisting participants with all aspects of personal care activities and implementing strategies for promoting increased levels of self-care when possible. Responsible for assisting participants with Instrumental activities of daily living and implementing strategies for promoting increased levels of independence when possible. Responsible to reinforce and comply with all rehab initiatives and clinical modalities.QualificationsCaregiver requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) as per regulation.Must have 1 year of geriatric related experience.Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver's license in order to visit clients in their homes and other sites.Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.Lutheran SeniorLife and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers.
