Work Environment

The rehabilitation center offers a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere where staff and patients share a mutual commitment to achieving therapeutic goals. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a close-knit team of two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, setting comprehensive therapeutic goals that aim to restore mobility and function.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, focusing on individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation protocols that leverage manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and progress, adjusting plans as necessary to advocate for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care services meticulously, ensuring accuracy in records and continuity of care.
• Guide patients through their treatment journey, providing motivation and encouragement to foster recovery and a proactive approach to health.
• Reduce reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions by exploring alternative therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver holistic care to our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The center primarily serves individuals dealing with a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patients often seek restorative therapies that improve their daily functioning and enhance their quality of life. As part of our team, you will directly influence the recovery trajectories of diverse patients, guiding them on their path to rehabilitation and wellness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist within Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Evidenced experience in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience with EMR systems and familiarity with data analysis for tracking patient progress and improving treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
