The Production Lead supports the Production Supervisor in coordinating daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.SHIFT: Grave Shift (Monday - Friday; 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM)Basic English communication skills required.Job Summary:This role is responsible for assigning daily tasks to Manufacturing Associates, organizing break schedules, and making real-time adjustments throughout the shift as needed. The Production Lead monitors work center performance, addresses issues impacting quality or efficiency, and helps maintain a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.Essential Job Duties:Support Production Supervisor by establishing Manufacturing Associates work assignments, break schedules and adjustments throughout the shift.Serve as "Point of Contact" for production floor status, including current issues affecting the process.Verify OMS accuracy and suggest any necessary redlines to Engineering and Quality. Follow up with Document Control if there are any discrepanciesVerify Work Order completion and initiate Line Clearance and that all documents are accurate.Confirm at job start-up that the work center is organized, the Component Stager has provided all needed tools and packaging, and that it is staffed to minimize downtime.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1 years' experience as a leader in a production environmentThe ability to follow oral and written instructions and to understand, speak and read EnglishExperience in assembly and/or medical manufacturing preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentMust be a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervisionComputer Skills (Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook, IQ, etc)Must be proficient in counting and mathADA Requirements:Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move about frequentlyOccasional repetitive motion and graspingOccasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racksLift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequentlyTypically sits, grasps items or performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computerRequired to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structuresSubject to noise, vibration, indoor and outdoor environmental conditions and atmospheric conditions to include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilationWe are committed to fair and equitable hiring with salaries based on relevant factors, such as work experience, education, and certifications.
