What You ll Do

• Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with APCs, physicians, and specialty teams such as General Surgery and Orthopedics
• Support telestroke and Tele ICU services to enhance patient care
• Utilize onsite UW helicopter for rapid patient transport when needed
• Document patient care thoroughly and efficiently
• Participate in coverage continuity for ongoing needs in 2027
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and protocols

What You Need
Required:

• Wisconsin Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Experience in Emergency Medicine or Acute Care settings
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Certification in ACLS, ATLS, or PALS
• Prior telemedicine or telehealth experience

About the Assignment
This opportunity is based at a leading facility in Portage, WI, located just 30 minutes from Madison and 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells and scenic tourist spots. The emergency department manages approximately 40-60 patients daily, staffed by a dedicated team including APCs and physicians. With access to advanced telemedicine services and a UW helicopter on site, this assignment provides excellent support and resources to deliver top-tier emergency care.
