Job Description
Title: Polysomnography Technician

Schedule: Night - 3x12, 6pm-6am, Schedule Mon-Weds or Thurs-Sat.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Weeks: 12
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep specialty (RRT-SDS).
- BLS - required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality sleep studies and assist in diagnosing sleep disorders.
- Operate polysomnographic equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Collect and record complete and accurate patient information.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Administer oxygen and CPAP therapy per physician orders and provide patient/family education on equipment use.
