We have an exciting position open: Assembly Technician I, this position will report to the Production Supervisor. This position is responsible for the total production process through the finished goods stage, as well as for product safety and the quality of goods produced. Work Area/Centers Defined As: Airless Pumps, MAC Pumps, EVO Pumps, EC/Amplitude Pumps.

This is how your journey begins:

• Monitor multiple high speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards in one (1) work area/center.
• Validate quality of raw components from shop order to component number to prevent mixed or wrong parts.
• Perform quality checks visually, and using various inspection gauges.
• Perform hourly inspection of assembled product to ensure product meets performance requirements.
• Fill machine hoppers for multiple machines.
• Perform rework at machine and sorts machine scrap.
• Performs recordkeeping duties using various production forms and a PC.
• Load tubing onto or into machinery and threads tubing into machine where necessary.
• Perform traceability, lot control, down time logging and product declarations, functions utilizing a handheld scanner in MES.
• Perform/meet the requirements of GMP/ISO in all job activities.
• Remove minor machine jams.
• Perform machine line clearance.
• Conduct shift CIL.
• Need to be certified in one (1) work area (1-3 Machines) in order to advance into a Level II position.

What you will bring on the journey:

• High School graduate
• Entry level/no previous experience required.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds, reach above shoulder for periods of time.
• Must be able to bend/push, grasp, climb steps and discern shades of color.
• Must be able to hear warnings/verbal alerts to avoid injury during manufacturing process.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues.
• Must possess basic math and PC skills.
