In this role, you'll be designing and improving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and systems. This role is the link that connects product design and production. You will support both new product development and continuous improvement of existing equipment and systems. This position is located in University Park, IL and is 100% on-site, with hybrid flexibility down the line. Job Details 2+ years of Design Engineering and or Manufacturing Engineering experience involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems Excited to work on the shop floor with technicians on redesigns Fundamental knowledge of reverse engineering and reengineering, as that will be a big part of this role Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required SolidWorks proficiency, with experience in product data management and ERP systems Previous experience with troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork and good communication skills are essential Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing practices, Value Engineering (VE), and Six Sigma a plus Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
