Barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge Wear scrubs If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation) If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day Our department is very hectic with urgent emergent cases as we are the highest level of care in the region. All staff are responsible for entering missing instruments into the CensiTrac system. This expectation will be discussed in orientation Must have sufficient level 1 trauma exp. CALL: As needed, can be more or less than 3-4 weekday, weeknight, and 1-2 call weekend shifts per 6 week sched, depending on unit needs Our official turnaround time is 40 minutes from call to clock-in. Our max time for emergency cases is 60 min from case request to into the OR time so being in the room and setting up within 40 minutes is best Special equipment: Heart and lung transplant experience is needed for night shift. Please screen and call out if they do not have this exp. SCRUB exp is required, please screen and call out work history if they do not have CV scrub Compliance deadlines/requirements: Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Monday of the week before initial start date. Fit testing: Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions Certifications: For Barnes-Jewish Hospital location only: ACLS Required All RNs (except Behavioral Health, Case Manager & Outpatient) are required to obtain ACLS by compliance hard document deadline. Certifications not required at time of submittal unless otherwise noted in the job description Labs: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing Modules: Modules are billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr. Modules are completed pre-start, they are required for RNs and LVS and do not differ per specialty. Modules are completed through WorkRamp and uploaded to compliance report.
