Job Description CNBC seeks a dynamic externally focused Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships to drive growth of our partnership ecosystem. This high‑visibility, front‑of‑the‑funnel role focuses on identifying untapped market opportunities and initiating outreach to bring new partners into the CNBC portfolio. The role represents CNBC’s brand to external partners, crafts executive presentations, supports partnership negotiations, and acts as a brand ambassador, proactively pitching CNBC’s value proposition to market leaders in financial services, technology, investment content, and more. Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation: Build an outbound list of targets across Fintech, Financial Services, Business News, Investment Content, CTV, & digital media, moving them from outreach to initial discussions. Strategic Opportunity Assessment: Vet outbound leads through due diligence and build ROI models & financial forecasts to ensure alignment with CNBC’s revenue and brand goals. External Market Presentation: Represent CNBC at industry events and direct outreach, articulating our value proposition to key decision‑makers. Partnership Management: Support the partnership lifecycle from outreach to due diligence, negotiations, and launch. Executive Storytelling & Pitch Design: Design compelling executive presentations that synthesize complex market data into persuasive pitch decks for C‑suite audiences. Internal Consensus Building: Bridge external market feedback with internal requirements, securing buy‑in across Finance, Legal, Standards, Editorial, Product, etc. Trend Forecasting & Market Intelligence: Stay informed on media and investment landscapes to proactively identify partnership opportunities. Qualifications 6+ years in business development, corporate strategy, or strategic partnerships within media, finance, or technology; proven track record in supporting deals. Exceptional ability to build executive‑level presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides). Strong negotiation experience in external‑facing roles, navigating complex contract negotiations. Analytical rigor: Build ROI models & business cases for partnership investments. High professional polish & confidence in presenting to & influencing executive‑level stakeholders.
