Associate - Family Wealth

Farella Braun + Martel’s highly respected Family Wealth practice seeks an associate with 4-7 years of experience.Ranked in the Chambers USA High Net Worth Guide, our client base is both domestic and international with a heavy emphasis on family wealth generated in California’s technology,real estate, finance, and food and beverage (i.e., wine) industries. The ideal candidate will become an integral member of our Private Client Industry Group supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, privately-owned businesses, and family offices.Autonomy is a hallmark of our practice, which requires candidates to understand (commensurate with their level) the unique legal and business needs required to assist our Private Client Industry team build, expand, and develop current and future client relationships. An LLM in taxation is desirable, but not mandatory. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $265,000 and $332,500. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to years of relevant experience and professional skills required for this role. Additional compensation may include discretionary hours-based and additional bonuses, health/welfare benefits, vacation and leave time (including parental and sabbatical) and paid holidays. In-person attendance and collaboration enable us to provide excellent client service and is critical to an Associate’s professional development.
