CNC Operator

Randstad is seeking experienced CNC Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines (such as mills, lathes, and routers) to fabricate high-precision metal, plastic, or composite parts.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into CNC machines manually or using hoists/cranes.
• Set up CNC machinery by loading tools, adjusting feeds/speeds, and setting workpiece zero positions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to determine tooling and processing sequences.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, tool wear, or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of finished parts using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and CMMs).
• Adjust offsets and G-code/M-code parameters as needed to ensure part dimensions remain within strict tolerance limits.
• Perform daily routine machine maintenance, including checking coolant levels, lubricating slides, and clearing metal chips/shavings.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and free of hazard conditions (following 5S / lean manufacturing principles).
• Comply strictly with all company safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and OSHA procedures.
• Document inspection findings, quality logs, and production output accurately.
