Commercial Litigation Attorney

We are partnering with a premier law firm dedicated to delivering high-stakes advocacy across a diverse spectrum of complex business disputes. They are seeking a driven, high-caliber Commercial Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of specialized experience to join a thriving, sophisticated practice.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience navigating complex commercial disputes from a defense perspective, a proven track record of managing civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, and a strategic mind for risk mitigation. This role offers an excellent platform for an ambitious attorney looking to take a lead role on dynamic cases while working within a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm culture
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of commercial litigation experience
- 4+ years of hands-on civil litigation experience, including conducting/defending depositions and arguing substantive motions in court.
- Prior experience handling high-stakes defense disputes in at least one of the following areas: Business & Contracts Law, Real Estate, Construction, Fraud, Intellectual Property, Defamation, or Labor & Employment.
- Licensed in the state of Florida
Responsibility:
- Manage complex commercial defense matters from initial intake and pre-litigation risk analysis through trial or favorable resolution. Evaluate exposure and provide strategic legal counsel to corporate entities and individual executives.
- Draft complex answers, affirmative defenses, demurrers, substantive motions (including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment), and comprehensive discovery requests/responses. Represent clients aggressively in depositions, evidentiary court hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
- Partner with senior attorneys across a varied corporate portfolio—including Real Estate, Construction, Labor & Employment, Defamation, Intellectual Property, Fraud, and Business & Contracts Law—to deliver comprehensive, creative legal defense solutions.
The annual salary for this position is between 200k-250k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
