Full Stack EngineerPosition Type: Full-time, On-site Location: Dayton, OH Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibilityJob Summary: The Full Stack Software Engineer will support by performing software activities focused on creating web-based tools aimed at decreasing user friction and improving usability of existing complex Modeling and Simulation systems. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and an eye for clean layouts, typography, and intuitive user workflows via personal portfolio or open-source contributions.Job Responsibilities:Design and implement new capabilitiesResolve issues found in existing codeIntegrate capabilities with external services and toolsParticipate in code reviews and share knowledge with team membersCommunicate status and technical details with customersCollaborate directly with the customer to drive requirementsDevelop solutions based on customer needs and existing points of frictionHybrid work schedule working at Dayton Ohio, WPAFB as customer needs dictateOccasional out-of-state travel required for client eventsRequired Qualifications:3+ years of related experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or relevant STEM fieldU.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearanceAbility to organize and clearly communicate complex technical detailsExperience with RESTful web servicesExperience with server-side languages, preference towards Python and/or C++Strong preference with modern frontend JavaScript frameworksExperience with version control software (ex Git)Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JiraDesired Experience:Experience with configuring and deploying web applications using Kubernetes, OKD, and/or HELMExperience of UI design using ReactExperience creating dashboards to simplify data presentation and navigationExperience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or JenkinsExperience containerizing (Docker or Podman) web applications, with 2 or more communicating containersExperience utilizing relational databases to handle large and complex datasetsAble to demonstrate experience via personal portfolio or open-source contributions
