The Role This is a varied first-opinion position covering both medical and surgical cases. You'll have the opportunity to use and develop your clinical skills across a broad caseload, while benefiting from the support and experience of colleagues around you. The practice offers a high level of clinical autonomy, allowing you to make decisions in the best interests of your patients while having access to experienced colleagues for advice and support when needed. There is also close collaboration with a nearby veterinary hospital, which provides an out-of-hours service. This means the role remains focused on first-opinion work without a routine OOH commitment. Facilities include: Three dedicated consulting rooms Fully equipped operating theatre Purpose-built clinical environment Varied medical and surgical caseload Access to support from experienced veterinary colleagues Close links with a nearby veterinary hospital for out-of-hours and more advanced case support The Team You'll be joining a friendly, experienced and collaborative team who are committed to providing excellent standards of patient and client care. The team places a strong emphasis on supporting one another, sharing knowledge and helping colleagues develop their confidence and clinical skills. There is scope for the successful candidate to become involved in mentoring and leadership, although this is not essential for the role.
