The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space’s Mission Solutions business area is seeking a talented and dedicated Systems Engineer-IT to become a member of an Agile team focused on IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking, & Hardware) in the Whiskey Program Area. This Is a Level 2, Where Successful Applicants Will Typically possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience having received a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or additional experience/combined education in lieu of a degree. Selected candidate must be a US Citizen. This position requires a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that do not perform IT responsibilities, use E146, Systems Engineer. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, acceptable degree programs will include science and technology related programs such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics etc. Windows and Linux System Administration experience Hypervisor / Virtualization experience System Hardening, Cybersecurity concepts and tools Active Top Secret with SCI clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship. Desired Skills Windows System Administration experience Active Directory Windows patching, deployments, backups, and monitoring PowerShell / Ansible automation scripting ACAS, Nessus, Trelix scanning systems VMWare, AWS, OpenStack/OpenShift, KVM Containers Network Engineering Linux System Administration Agile/Kanban process Security+ or CISSP certification

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
