Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel RN Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Start Date: September 7, 2026 Location: Aurora, CO 80012 Healthcare Setting: Labor and delivery unit in a busy women’s services environment Unit Highlights: Small but fast-paced team with a strong culture, self-scheduling, and quality 1:1 patient care Clinical Standards: AWHONN guidelines followed Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of current acute care Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications Ability to circulate for C-sections Strong OB triage skills preferred Prior Meditech experience preferred Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a busy clinical setting Responsibilities Triage and evaluate OB patients in a Labor & Delivery setting Manage laboring patients and support safe, compassionate care throughout the birthing process Oversee recovery for vaginal and cesarean deliveries Manage induction of labor using Cervidil, Cytotec, and Pitocin as ordered Circulate for C-sections and collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary care team Support a collaborative, family-oriented unit focused on excellent patient outcomes Provide attentive, high-quality bedside nursing in a fast-moving women’s health environment Why Consider This Travel Nursing Job?
