Sales Executive - Intimate Apparel & Sleepwear

SALES EXECUTIVE - WOMEN'S & CHILDREN'S INTIMATE APPAREL

Experience in wholesale sales of Intimate Apparel & Sleepwear is required.

Role is onsite full-time in New York City.

A well-established, privately-owned 40-year-old importer and marketer of women’s and children’s intimate apparel and sleepwear is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Sales Executive to help expand their customer base and distribution channels

.

The ideal candidate will posses

• A minimum of five years of successful sales experience in women’s and/or children’s intimate apparel, sleepwear, or related apparel categorie

• Established relationships with buyers at major retail accounts, including department stores, discount retailers, specialty retailers, clubs, DTC accounts and other key channel

• Experience developing and managing private label programs for retailer

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skill

• A keen eye for product, market trends, and customer need

• A passion for sales and a proven track record of generating new business and growing existing account

Their company already has strong coverage in the off-price retail channel. We are specifically seeking a candidate who has established relationships with buyers, merchandise managers, and top executives at other retail channels, including specialty stores, clubs, department stores, discount chains, and others. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will consist of a base salary plus commission. This position is designed for a highly successful salesperson whose primary earnings opportunity will come from sales commissions and business growth.
