Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $19hr - $24hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience using torque wrenches, impact tools, measuring tools, and other basic maintenance equipment.
• Experience using electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Mobile equipment.
• Confined space procedures.
• High voltage safety.
• Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to pass a mobile equipment test.
• Strong attention to safety and organization.

Experience:

• Experience performing preventative maintenance activities.
• Experience calibrating and adjusting machine tools and equipment.
• Experience modifying machinery for specialized functions.
• Experience performing minor building maintenance including plumbing and electrical work.
• Experience maintaining technical libraries and spare parts inventory preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment using manuals, schematics, blueprints, and related documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment.
• Calibrate and adjust machine tools and equipment.
• Modify machines and building systems for specialized operational functions.
• Perform minor building maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following 5S principles.
• Support inventory management of spare parts and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure equipment is returned to optimal operating condition in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Should Have:

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic diagrams, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience working with furnaces and induction equipment.
• Previous HVAC experience.
• Ability to use cutting torches and perform basic welding activities.

Qualification and Education:
