Actalent is currently hiring for several Technical Writers for a large pharmaceutical company located in Irvine. The candidate will be helping the team by predominantly investigating non-conformances and deviations, writing technical reports and will work in one of their contained facility labs. Must have experience with CAPA's, OOS for lab investigations and or root cause analysis.

Job Responsibilities

- Using 5 why's or Fishbone or other methodology in determining root cause analysis and writing detailed descriptions on the CAPA (corrective actions)

- Help heavily with CAPA deviation report writing

- Assist with corrective action investigations

- Obtain information from team and writing manuals and other sources

- Writes descriptions of processes of materials

- Help with document redlining

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors Degree: Scientific degree

3-5 years of industry experience in a lab or GMP environment.

Experience writing deviation reports, NC's, OOS investigations

Experience with CAPA is a plus

Experience with 5 why's or Fishbone methodology

FDA experience

GDP experience

Pharmaceutical experience preferred, open to medical device.

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
