Bay State Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. Formerly known as Boston Sports Medicine our Bay State Physical Therapy - Ink Block in Boston, MA is focused on providing personalized, expert physical therapy services to patients of Boston neighborhoods, such as South End and Ink Block, as well as Brookline, Roxbury, and other surrounding communities. Our team is dedicated to helping patients move better, feel better, and live better to return to the activities they enjoy.

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
• Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities
• Manage patient intake forms and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance approvals
• Support clinic operations and maintain efficient schedules
• Assist with billing, payments, and administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or front desk role required
• Knowledge of insurance verification and patient financial responsibilities preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
