Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for various automation projects.
• Program and implement control systems using PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs, vision systems, and mobile robots (both traditional and autonomous).
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Provide field engineering support for system retrofits and upgrades.
• Support project teams and customers during design reviews, installations, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites for system start-up and troubleshooting support.
• Periods of time may require up to 15% overnight travel.
• Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in automation technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in controls engineering and automation systems design.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
