Warehouse Coordinator/Driver

The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Coordinator/Driver in the Memphis, TN area. For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver is to coordinate and oversee activities at our warehouse located in Memphis, TN. Oversee all shipping and receiving Maintain upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of warehouse and surrounding lot Receive, inventory and label all incoming material and supplies in a timely fashion Comfortable creating processes to improve efficiencies with regards to receiving, shipping and inventory management Ability to communicate and coordinate with various operations to plan & arrange pick up & deliveries Order, stock and manage an array of PPE Effectively communicate with internal and external customers Qualifications Valid Class A CDL and medical card required Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening 2-3 warehouse management or similar experience preferred 1-2 years experience in the construction and/or electrical industry preferred 1-2 years of forklift experience preferred Benefits Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance w/ additional Voluntary Life Insurance 401K w/ company match Employee Stock Ownership Program State and Federally accredited Lineman Apprenticeship program Paid Vacation Uniforms and PPE provided Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr Elliot Services
