Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate must have an active New York State license and a minimum of one year of experience. This role involves caring for patients recovering from PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post-MI, and cardiac pharmacological interventions, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care and medication in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients' health status and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care.
• Provide respiratory support including nasal cannula and oxygen face masks.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active New York State RN license.
• BLS and NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a MedSurg/Tele environment.
• Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
