Job Title: Sous Chef Location: Marriott Dallas Las Colinas – Irving, TX Department: Culinary / Food & Beverage Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible; early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations in our full-service hotel. This role assists the Executive Chef with food production, staff supervision, and maintaining quality, consistency, and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality food in a professional kitchen environment. What You’ll Do Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance during service Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency Support menu execution, prep, and production Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Assist with inventory, ordering, and food cost control Help train and develop kitchen team members Ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment What We’re Looking For Previous Sous Chef or lead cook experience preferred Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety Ability to lead and work alongside a kitchen team Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred Why Work With Us Join a professional culinary team in a full-service hotel that values teamwork, quality, and consistency.
