MacDill Ave, Tampa FL 33609 Employee Status: Full‑Time Workplace Type: Fully On‑Site About this Position Personal Banking Advisor who serves as a financial consultant and advocate for members, meeting their financial needs by providing expert guidance, actively cross‑selling LMCU products, and delivering exceptional service. What You’ll Do Member Experience Build strong member interactions by establishing trust and rapport, ensuring a personalized and consultative approach. Serve as an on‑call interpreter for Spanish‑speaking members, including member meetings, transactions, and policy explanations. Educate members on LMCU products, identify cross‑sell opportunities (loans, credit cards, second mortgages, banking services). Demonstrate critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to find solutions while mitigating risk. Build relationships that promote member retention and satisfaction. Resolve conflicts and de‑escalate unfavorable situations with professionalism, empathy, and care. Self‑manage task prioritization, organization, and timely follow‑ups while ensuring accuracy. Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards. Product Promotion / Growth Accurately process new consumer accounts, loans, credit cards, second mortgages, HSA or IRA accounts, and business account products. Meet individual sales and customer‑service targets, promoting LMCU products that meet members’ needs. Represent LMCU in community events and employer group sessions. Identify opportunities to refer members to other LMCU departments to enhance satisfaction and growth. Leadership & Development Mentor and coach peers, sharing best practices for referrals, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Participate in LMCU projects, initiatives, and culture, promoting core values. Adapt to changing branch needs and contribute to problem‑solving during new challenges. Assist in branch operations, including transactions, vault responsibilities, and supervisor duties during peak times. What You’ll Bring Three to five years of related experience or preparatory experience. High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional coursework or banking experience preferred. Michigan Resident Producer Credit Insurance License required for all Michigan‑based employees; non‑licenceholders must complete the exam within 90 days of hire. Ability to obtain NMLS registration and county notary certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with English and Spanish; proficiency assessment during application. In-depth knowledge of LMCU products and ability to process consumer and business accounts accurately. Proven ability to meet sales targets and contribute to branch goals. Exceptional problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills, remaining calm under pressure. Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing branch needs.
