Maintenance TechnicianCable manufacturer in Ephrata, PA is looking for 2nd shift Maintenance Technicians. Multiple openings! Initial virtual interviews available ASAP with onsite interview and tour to follow.Pay Range: $28-35/hrJob DescriptionThis role is in a climate controlled facility and focuses on configuring, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting automated production equipment, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and equipment reliability. The Maintenance / Automation Technician performs regular inspections, replaces wear parts, and supports production goals by minimizing downtime and improving process efficiency on complex automatic cable assembly equipment.QualificationsSet up and operate complex automatic production equipment to support daily production requirements.2+ years of experience working with automated or industrial equipment preferred.Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs and control systems required. Do not need to know how to program PLCsExperience with robotics preferred.Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills required.Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints required.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
