Position Overview: It Takes a Village Family of Schools, in partnership with the Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP), is proud to offer the IYIP Clerk Apprenticeship Program. This paid apprenticeship provides participants with hands-on experience in financial administration, data management, and organizational operations within an educational environment. Responsibilities: Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic as a contributing team member Complete tasks assigned by the Chief Financial Officer with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain confidentiality of financial and student information at all times Demonstrate growth in workplace readiness skills, including communication, time management, and accountability Fulfill all program requirements, including Illinois WorkNet and Casey Life skills Job Duties: Manage student billing records accurately and efficiently. Process tuition payments and fees in a timely manner. Reconcile student accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies promptly and effectively. Generate and distribute financial reports related to student accounts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing information. Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service to students and their families regarding billing inquiries, payment options, and financial aid matters. Maintain confidentiality and security of student financial information in compliance with privacy regulations. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Must be 18-24 years old High school diploma or GED required Must complete physical exam, TB test, and fingerprint background check Who You Are: A highly organized individual who is able to prioritize tasks effectively.
