Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney in Florida to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage significant real estate and commercial cases, providing hands-on courtroom experience and diverse casework. Duties Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive correspondence. Appear in court, mediations, hearings, and depositions frequently. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across multiple offices. Communicate clearly and directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. Requirements Active Florida Bar membership with 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines. Effective communication skills with clients and opposing counsel. Client-focused and team-oriented with a proactive approach to case management. Education JD from an accredited law school required. Certifications Active membership in the Florida Bar. Skills Real estate or commercial litigation experience preferred. First- or second-chair trial experience is advantageous. Deposition experience beyond 30(b)(6) basics is a plus.
