Mechanical Assembler I - Weekend/Part Time

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a skilled professional for a position in Burnsville, MN. This role requires a U.S. Person and involves working onsite with a weekend shift commitment.

The position is for a duration of approximately four months with a training period on weekdays, followed by weekend shifts from 6:00am to 6:30pm.

The responsibilities include ensuring quality product standards, meeting customer deadlines, complying with quality systems, participating in cost reduction and continuous improvement plans, and performing various inspection and assembly tasks.

The role also involves using specific equipment such as the Ragen Assembly, Component Lead Former, Drill Press, Denison Hydraulic Press, and S.M.T. Re-flow, among others. Fabrication tasks may include crimping, staking, and cutting.

Qualifications required include a high school diploma or GED and U.S. Person status. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing experience, Career Readiness Certification, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
