The Nurse Practitioner Psychiatric Mental Health will support a program that offers acute inpatient psychiatric care combined with a full spectrum of integrated medical services, creating an engaging environment for treating complex psychiatric conditions while coordinating medical and behavioral health needs. Reporting to behavioral health leadership and collaborating closely with psychiatrists and hospital clinical leaders, the Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, manage psychiatric medications, provide education, document progress, and coordinate safe transitions of care.
