Substitute CustodiansThe above substitute Custodial positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year. The positions report to the Building Principal/Supervisor, or other administrator if needed, effective date is 9/1/2026. Salary range is $144.00 per diem (pending negotiations). Health benefits are not provided, and no other coverage is offered.Position Summary: The substitute Custodial positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications include general knowledge in cleaning and maintaining building interior/exterior, including snow removal. Physical strength, stamina, and endurance are required. Ability to lift cases of copy paper, move/set up tables, and removal of full trash bags from garbage cans is necessary. Familiarity with current technology, able to use electronic attendance system to accept work assignments is required. Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance. Required physical and drug test offered free of charge.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy. Terms of employment are per diem pay.
