Experienced Accountant/Tax Preparer

Position Overview

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career as a public accountant serving the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of individual and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail

• Gather and organize client financial information and documentation

• Communicate with clients to request additional information and provide updates

• Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks as needed

• Support tax planning and research under supervision

• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines

• Assist clients during the return finalization and checkout process

• Other accounting assignments as they arise|

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or certified tax professional

• Minimum 2 years in public accounting

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic understanding of tax concepts and accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tax software and/or QuickBooks is a must
