Immigration Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join an established law firm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience handling a broad range of immigration matters, strong organizational skills, and excellent client communication abilities, with bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications, including I-130, I-485, I-751, I-589, I-90, N-400, and I-612.
• Manage matters involving family-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, and employment-based immigration.
• Draft correspondence, cover letters, and supporting documentation.
• Track filing deadlines, RFE deadlines, and critical case dates.
• Communicate with clients to gather documents and provide case updates.
• Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical case files.
• Coordinate with attorneys regarding case strategy, hearings, and interviews.
• Communicate with USCIS, immigration courts, and other government agencies.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of immigration paralegal experience.
• Experience across family-based, asylum, removal defense, and employment-based immigration matters.
• Strong understanding of immigration forms, procedures, and filing requirements.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong client-service and interpersonal skills.
