Summary Step into a leadership role and help drive production success. As a Line Lead in our Food service department, you’ll oversee daily operations on assigned production lines or processing areas, supporting the department supervisor with workforce coordination and workflow execution. You’ll play a hands‑on role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule while helping guide and support team members on the floor. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 am‑6:00 pm Responsibilities Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products. Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout‑Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters. Ensure that product quality meets the specifications of QA and USDA. Ensure that all equipment throughout the departments is running smoothly. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Lead and train line team members. Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality. Implement safety protocols and report incidents. Maintain accurate records and reports. Control labor and material costs. Minimum Education and Experience Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field. Preferred Education and Experience High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required. Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment. Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 °F to 100 °F with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle products from 25 °F to 50 °F. May be exposed to noise levels ranging from 50 dB to 110 dB. May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry processing. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors (10 ppm) and chlorine ( Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
