Job Opportunity: Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
We are currently in search of a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens support, addressing an immediate need within our facility.
Position Details- Start Date: ASAP
- Available Shifts: Night shifts (12 hours)
- Weekend Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50
- Conduct initial patient assessments and triage
- Perform patient screenings and rounding
- Review laboratory and procedure results
- Coordinate follow-up care
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Manage medication, diagnostic, and treatment pre-authorizations
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required for Physician Assistants
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic
This role involves providing critical care and intensive care services during night shifts. The facility is located in an area that offers recreational activities such as snowboarding, snow tubing, skiing, and ice skating at local parks and indoor arenas.
